Netflix has decided to temporarily postpone the upcoming works of actor Yoo Ah In, who is under police investigation for drug use.

A Netflix official told SPOTV News on March 27, “We are in the middle of discussing the movie ‘The Match’ with the production company Acemaker and other affiliates, and we have decided to temporarily suspend the release.”

In addition, regarding the series “Goodbye Earth” the official said, “After discussing with the production team, we decided to temporarily postpone the release of ‘Goodbye Earth.’ We will inform you of the specific release schedule as soon as it is confirmed. Thank you for your interest in ‘Goodbye Earth’.”

Yoo Ah In attended the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Drug Crime Investigation Unit at 9:20 a.m. the same day and went through a private investigation..

After Yoo Ah In’s investigation, the police plan to comprehensively review whether to secure his whereabouts through an arrest warrant and whether to establish individual charges.

In the midst of this, Yoo Ah In, who is suspected of illegally administering drugs, has been temporarily restricted from appearing on KBS. While the police are investigating Yoo Ah In’s suspicion of drug use, the ‘temporary restriction on appearances’ may change depending on future results.

Yoo Ah In is charged with using four types of drugs. On the 17th of last month, the police received a result from the National Institute of Scientific Investigation that Yoo Ah In’s hair and urine tested positive for drugs such as marijuana, propofol, cocaine, and ketamine.

Meanwhile, Yoo Ah In has even finished filming with the main characters of the movies “Victory,” “High Five” and the drama “Goodbye Earth.” All three works, which were scheduled to be released this year, were decided to be temporarily postponed as Yoo Ah In was investigated by the police for drug use.
