SHINee’s Key and Minho will continue their strong partnership with SM Entertainment.
Key and Minho, based on their deep trust with SM built over a long period of time, have signed a new contract and plan to continue their diverse activities with the full support of SM, the agency announced on April 9.
Celebrating their 16th debut anniversary this year, SHINee is a team that has received warm love from fans around the world for their outstanding skills and unique music colors.
Key and Minho expressed, “SM has been with us from the beginning of SHINee to the present. We believe that we are here now because of the company staff who have been breathing with us for a long time. We want to create new and diverse starting points as artists by continuing to show good synergy with SM. We sincerely thank all the fans who always believe in and support us, and we will continue to show you the best of us.”
SM also stated, “We are delighted to continue our precious relationship with Key and Minho. With a strong foundation of trust, we will fully support Key and Minho, both as members of SHINee and as solo artists, so that they can shine even brighter in various ways.”
Meanwhile, the remaining SHINee members have left SM but not the group. Taemin has joined BPM while Onew joined Griffin Entertainment.
