Singer Hwasa created a calm congratulatory stage at the 2023 SBS Drama Awards.
On the 29th of December, the 2023 SBS Drama Awards took place at SBS Prism Tower in Seoul, and singer Hwasa prepared a congratulatory stage. Before Hwasa’s congratulatory stage, MC Shin Dong Yeop explained, “Hwasa has been diligently preparing a splendid stage for the SBS Drama Awards, but due to recent unfortunate events, the stage has been changed.”
Following the explanation, Hwasa appeared on stage and performed a calm ballad called ‘LMM,’ instead of her usual flashy performances. In the emotional and serene atmosphere, all the actors present at the venue listened solemnly to Hwasa’s stage.
On the 27th, just before the awards ceremony, actor Lee Sun Kyun passed away. As a result, the entire cast of the SBS drama “Payback” in which he played the lead role, did not attend the awards ceremony.
