Actress Jeon Jong Seo denied allegations of school violence and hinted at taking legal action.
On the 4th of April, on the anonymous professional community application Blind, a post was made on the 3rd raising suspicions of school violence against J.
The author, B, stated about J, “Lately, I saw a post about J’s school violence controversy being quickly deleted as J’s advertisements have been increasing, which made me angry as I searched for articles.” B claimed, “I attended the same middle school as J. They went to a school in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul until the beginning of 2nd grade of middle school before studying abroad. They would often steal or snatch PE uniforms and school uniforms from others, and those who didn’t comply would be insulted and bullied.”
Since then her agency has denied the rumors and stated, “We are aware of the false information and rumors related to Jeon Jong Seo spreading on online communities and SNS. We closely checked the facts through Jeon Jong Seo and her acquaintances, and found that they are completely untrue.”
They continued, “Speculative posts and malicious comments are being indiscriminately written and spread, causing serious mental damage to Jeon Jong Seo and those around her. We will take necessary legal actions to protect the actress through a law firm.”
They also emphasized, “We will actively respond to any unilateral claims without accurate fact-checking, posting them online, reproducing them, maliciously interpreting them, or promoting them.”
Meanwhile, Jeon Jong Seo recently appeared in the tvN drama ‘Wedding Impossible,’ which ended on the 2nd.
