Park Eun Bin and Sol Kyung Gu will meet as doctor and disciple in the drama “Hyper Knife.”
The production company CJ ENM Studios has confirmed the casting of lead actors Park Eun Bin, Sol Kyung Gu, Park Byung Eun and Yoon Chan Young for the drama “Hyper Knife” and has started filming, announced today on the 3rd of April.
“Hyper Knife” is a medical crime thriller that depicts the confrontation and growth of two crazy geniuses, genius doctor Seok (played by Park Eun Bin) who was once highly praised, and her mentor Deok-hee (played by Sol Kyung Gu) who has brought her down into the abyss.
Sol Kyung Gu will play the role of Deok-hee, the mentor who permanently drove away his disciple Seok from the operating room out of love. Park Eun Bin will play the role of Seok, a brilliant doctor who was once called a genius but now lives as an illegal shadow doctor.
Park Byung Eun will play Han Hyun-ho, the anesthesiologist and doctor who feels more sorry for Seok’s talents than anyone else. Yoon Chan Young will play Seo Young-joo, who always guards Seok’s side like a shadow.
“Hyper Knife” is a work by Kim Sun-hee, who wrote the drama “God’s Quiz Reboot” and the Naver webtoon “Roommate,” and will be directed by Kim Jung-hyun, expressing the work’s unique chilling tension in depth.
