Irene’s reaction to Wendy’s recent video is making headlines!
Despite the ongoing sad situation with Red Velvet Wendy, SM had confirmed that Red Velvet members will attend the previously assigned schedules following Wendy’s injury; however, the group will not be performing.

Irene attended the 2019 KBS Gayo Daechukje as a co-MC and during the show; KBS showed a video of idols of various Kpop groups in touching video messages to their 2019 and 2020 selves, which was pre-recorded.
Among those were Red Velvet members, Wendy spoke briefly about how many times she’s been proud of being a Red Velvet member during 2019 and how she wants to live happily in 2020. Fans couldn’t help but tear up watching Wendy after her serious injuries at the 2019 SBS Gayo Daejeon.

Many fans also had their cameras focused on idols’ reactions during this video, one fan captured Irene’s reaction on video and she seemed to be upset. Fans noticed that Irene was holding back tears trying to act as professional as possible after watching Wendy’s message.
Fans understand Irene’s reaction, Wendy suffered serious injuries that will need weeks of recovery, she must be worried deeply about Wendy during such times.
