Actress Hyeri‘s agency has revealed its position regarding the acquisition and merger with C-JeS Studio.

Creative Group ING (hereinafter Creative), the agency of Hyeri, stated to Newsen on April 5th, “Creative ING, to which Hyeri belongs, was established as an advertising agency under C-JeS about five years ago.”

They further explained, “Recently, due to C-JeS’s preparations for going public, there was an acquisition and merger related to financial accounting, but Hyeri’s management has always been in the form of an independent one-person agency under the agreement with Creative ING’s advertising agency from the beginning.”

According to industry sources, C-JeS has acquired 100% of Creative’s shares for 1.3 billion won. Up until now, both C-JeS and Creative have been independently managed by Baek Chang-joo, the largest shareholder of both companies.

C-JeS is home to many actors including Seol Kyung Gu, Sung Woong, and Lee Jae Wook. Of particular interest in this acquisition and merger is Hyeri’s ex-boyfriend, Ryu Jun Yeol, who has also been a part of C-JeS. Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol publicly dated since 2017 but broke up in November last year.

The news has gained attention among fans since the former couple are now labelmates.
