Hwang Jung Eum’s Agency, Y.ONE Entertainment, has stepped up to personally apologize for the actress’s latest blunder!
The agency apologized to all those who have been harmed by Hwang Jung Eum’s personal SNS post on April 5, stating, “Hwang Jung Eum is deeply reflecting on the situation caused by her own carelessness, and our agency also feels responsible for it.”
The agency further requested, “We sincerely ask the public to help correct the misinformation. The individual identified by Hwang Jung Eum as the subject of infidelity is not related to Hwang Jung Eum’s spouse in any way.” They also asked for a stop to any personal attacks, malicious comments, and messages towards the victims to prevent further harm, and requested the deletion of any secondary posts quoting Hwang Jung Eum’s post containing third-party personal information.
The agency emphasized their commitment to prevent such incidents from happening again, stating, “We sincerely apologize once again to the victims.”
On April 4, the actress took to Instagram to share stories and posts about her husband’s alleged affair. She shared a photo of a woman and added captions suggesting she’s the mistress. In one story, she wrote, “You ugly woman. Please get married to Youngdonie [her husband’s name]. Can you just let me divorce him and go to Bangkok?”
However, the woman in question ended up issuing a statement denying any wrongdoing and demanding an apology. Shortly after, Hwang Jung Eum took to her Instagram to apologize, however, the statement was met with severe backlash after Ms. A exposed she hadn’t reached out to her as she said in her statement. Ms. A said, “I never got a proper apology, and I’m still suffering from a lot of hate comments.”
