G-Dragon of will voluntarily appear for questioning at the Narcotics Crime Investigation Unit of the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency this November!

On the 31st of October, G-Dragon’s legal representative, Attorney Kim Soo-hyun stated, “In order to facilitate a prompt and fair investigation, G-Dragon has decided to voluntarily appear for questioning at the Narcotics Crime Investigation Unit of the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency on November 6th and actively cooperate with the investigation.”

Attorney Kim further stated, “We request that the press and media take a responsible attitude in order to prevent the dissemination of groundless rumors that could cause irreversible harm” and warned, “We will respond firmly to false rumors and speculative reporting without any factual basis, as it constitutes the spread of false information and defamation.”

Recently, G-Dragon was booked on charges of violating the Act on the Control of Narcotics. The police are conducting an investigation into the allegations. In response, G-Dragon’s side directly refuted the suspicions, stating, “I have never taken drugs.” Later, the Narcotics Crime Investigation Unit of the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency issued a travel ban on G-Dragon. G-Dragon continues to assert his innocence and denied the allegations once again via a lengthier statement. His lawyer said the idol would cooperate fully with the investigations.
