G-Dragon’s legal representative, Attorney Kim Soo-hyun from Law Firm Kwon Chamber has released a new statement!
The lawyer officially stated on October 30th that G-Dragon is innocent of the claims and that he is willing to voluntarily attend investigations. Previously, through his legal representative when the news first came out, G-Dragon had stated, “There is no fact that I have taken drugs. Furthermore, I clarify that it is unrelated to the recent news reports about violations of the Narcotics Control Act. I will actively cooperate with the investigating agency and sincerely participate in the investigation.”

I, attorney Kim Soo-hyun of law firm Kwon Chamber, am providing this statement on behalf of Kwon Ji-yong. As has already been clearly stated, Mr. Kwon has never used drugs.
In relation to this matter, Mr. Kwon appointed one lawyer as his legal representative this morning and submitted a letter of intent to voluntarily attend the narcotics crime investigation unit of the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency.
Mr. Kwon strongly emphasizes his willingness to voluntarily attend and actively cooperate with the investigation through the letter of intent and the opinion of his lawyer. He also expressed his intention to promptly provide all necessary materials for the investigation and fully cooperate with hair and urine tests, with the aim of quickly clarifying the truth and resolving any unjust accusations. Currently, the schedule for voluntary attendance is being coordinated.
Regarding this case, there have been recent speculative false reports and indiscriminate dissemination of videos, such as the appointment of a former constitutional judge as his lawyer and the payment of a large fee. It is important to clarify that these are completely false. We will strongly respond to any false dissemination of facts and defamation of character.
