Singer BoA, who hinted at retirement from the entertainment industry, has revealed the remaining duration of her exclusive contract.
On the 7th of April, BoA disclosed, “My contract with SM Entertainment is until December 31, 2025.”
Recently, after implying retirement with the statement, “Can I retire once my contract ends?”, BoA attracted attention by directly revealing the contract period.
She reassured fans by saying, “Until then, I will do my best as singer BoA and be happy. Don’t worry, my love.”
Debuting at the age of just 13, BoA has led SM to its current position as the ‘Star of Asia’. She has established herself as a leading female solo artist in Korea through her activities in singing and acting. Recently, she led NCT WISH as a producer.
She successfully underwent a dramatic transformation by playing the villainous character Oh Yura in tvN’s ‘Marry My Husband’. However, she also faced criticism about her appearance due to this drama, leading to her expressing her pain.
