The Disney+ original series “The Worst Evil” has finished filming.

Disney+’s original series “The Worst Evil”, started shooting on August 24, 2022, and completed a long journey of eight months. “The Worst Evil” is a crime action drama about an investigation that started in Seoul, South Korea to break down the drug trade triangle between Korea, China, and Japan.

“The Worst Evil” is one of the most talked-about works in the second half of 2023, unveiling a casting lineup that predicts explosive synergies such as Ji Chang Wook, Wi Ha Joon, and Lim Se Mi.

After working as a director and assistant director for crime genre films such as “Unfair Transaction”, “War on Crime”, and “New World”, this is the next work of director Han Dong Wook, who debuted with “When a Man is in Love”, a rich melodrama that all generations can sympathize with. Expectations are rising as his new work is announced.

Through this work, the actors who will show different charms and explosive performances from previous works convey their impressions of filming.

Ji Chang Wook, who will play the role of Park Joon Mo, a police officer who first infiltrated the organization to investigate drugs, said, “I feel sorry for the first time because I met really good team members. Nevertheless, I have no regrets because I did my best to film it. It was a work that I worked on as much as I could enjoy, and I was happy to meet the ‘worst evil’,” he said, expressing his sincere feelings after finishing filming.

Next, Wi Ha Joon, who will show off his unstoppable charm by playing the role of Jung Ki Cheol, the boss of an emerging criminal organization, said, “It was the eight months I lived immersed in ‘The Worst Evil’ and Jung Ki-cheol’s character. It is upsetting to say goodbye to all the actors, staff, and directors on set. I also think, ‘Will I be able to do this kind of work again’. I am so grateful and it was a happy time,” raising expectations for the work.

Lastly, Lim Se Mi, who plays the role of Ui Jeong Yoo, a police officer who participates in drug investigations and Park Jun Mo’s wife, said, “The days I lived as Ui Jeong were truly precious and painful times.” “It was a precious scene every moment, and it was an honor to be with great actors and staff, including Ji Chang Wook as Jun Mo, Wi Ha Joon as Ki Chul, and director Han Dong Wook,” she said, expressing gratitude to the actors and staff.

“The Worst Evil” will be released on Disney+ in the second half of 2023.
