Singer Park Bo Ram has sadly passed away.
On the 12th of April, Park Boram’s agency stated to iMBC Entertainment, “It is true that Park Boram passed away the day before. We are currently organizing our position.”
Then they expressed their deep condolences issuing another statement soon after, saying, “All the artists and employees at our agency are deeply mourning the passing of Park Boram. It is even more heartbreaking to deliver such sudden news to all the fans who have supported her.”
The company added, “We earnestly ask that speculative reports be avoided so that the grieving family and colleagues can mourn the deceased in peace.”
Funeral arrangements will be made after consulting with the family.
The cause of Park Boram’s death is unknown and the police are reportedly investigating the cause of death.
Park Boram gained recognition through the Mnet audition program ‘Superstar K2’ in 2010. Debuting with the song ‘Beautiful’, she received love from the public with hits like ‘Will You Marry Me’ and ‘Please Don’t Be Sad’. She also drew attention for losing 32kg through diet and exercise.
She had been actively promoting this year as well. In February, she released the duet ‘I Would Like’ with Huh Gak, and on the 3rd of this month, she released a new song ‘Already Miss You’.
