Jang Ki Yong and Chun Woo Hee will be starring in the upcoming JTBC drama “Not A Hero”!

JTBC’s new drama ‘Not a Hero’ is a fantasy romance about a man with extraordinary abilities who finally saves his destined girl, whom no one else could save. It tells the story of a woman who coincidentally becomes intertwined with a superpower family who has lost their uncommon abilities due to a common modern illness. The drama is depicted in a delightful and heartwarming way.

Director Cho Hyun Tak, who showcased outstanding directing in the hit drama ‘SKY Castle’, takes the helm, while writer Ju Hwa Mi, known for her delicate storytelling in ‘Marriage, Not Dating’, is in charge of the script.  

The intriguing combination of Jang Ki Yong and Chun Woo Hee, who are known for their captivating performances, is already making drama fans excited. Moreover, it is highly anticipated as Jang Ki Yong’s first project after completing his military service. Jang Ki Yong transforms into a man named ‘Bok-gwi-ju’, who loses his superpowers due to depression. Bok-gwi-ju, who has the ability to ‘regress to the past’, can only time-slip to happy moments. Unable to change the past, he can only reminisce about his own happiness. However, his life changes when Doh Da-hae appears in front of him.

Chun Woo Hee takes on the role of a mysterious woman named ‘Doh Da-hae’ who appears in front of the superpower family. She starts a peculiar cohabitation with the Bok family, who have each lost their abilities due to insomnia, eating disorder, smartphone addiction, and depression.

“Not A hero” is scheduled to air in 2024.
