Arguably the most anticipated tvN drama of the year, “Queen Of Tears,” has premiered over the weekend, so how did the drama’s 1st episodes perform in ratings?
On March 9, “Queen Of Tears” starring Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won premiered to promising ratings scoring an average of 5.9% nationwide, for its first episode. this is notably higher than its predecessor “Captivating the King” premiere ratings which clocked in at 4%.
The drama’s 2nd episode saw a rise in ratings jumping nearly 3%, it recorded an average nationwide rating of 8.7%, showing impressive ratings.
Meanwhile, the drama led by Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Ji Won, Park Sung Hoon, Kwak Dong Yeon, and Lee Joo Bin, tells the love story of Hong Hae In (played by Kim Ji Won), the queen of a Queens group and a department store, and Baek Hyun Woo (played by Kim Soo Hyun), the son of a village leader and a supermarket prince, who are in their third year of marriage.
