“The Escape of the Seven” has reportedly Wrapped Up Season 1 Filming and is preparing for Season 2.
According to a report by media outlets on July 11, the new SBS “The Escape of the Seven” concluded all filming for Season 1 on the 6th of July.
Previously, Uhm Ki Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Joon, Lee Yu Bi, Shin Eun Kyung, Yoon Jong Hoon, and Jo Yoon Hee, Jo Jae Yoon, and Lee Deok Hwa have been confirmed to lead the new drama by creators of the hit drama “The Penthouse.”
“The Escape of the Seven” tells the story of seven people involved in the disappearance of a girl who gets entangled with numerous lies and desires, facing a huge incident.
Kim Sun Ok, the writer who achieved great success with ‘The Last Empress’ and ‘The Penthouse’ series, and director Ju Dong-min, known as a hit-making duo, have once again joined forces for this highly anticipated drama.
After commencing filming in September last year, the drama concluded all filming on the 6th. Following a period of reorganization, the drama will reportedly begin filming for Season 2.
In particular, “The Escape of the Seven” is challenging the format of multiple seasons, following the success of ‘The Penthouse,’ which became a household sensation with its unpredictable and intense storyline. Expectations are high for the drama which promises an even more intense and gripping story.
“The Escape of the Seven” is scheduled to air in the second half of the year.
