Byun Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon will be leading a new drama together.
On the 19th of July, tvN confirmed the production of the romantic comedy-drama ‘Fly High, Stay Low’ and announced that they have cast Byun Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon as the lead actors.
‘Fly High, Stay Low’ is a romance that tells the story of a top star who unfortunately ends his life and a woman who goes back to the past to save him. It is based on the web novel ‘Tomorrow’s Leader’ by Kim Bbang.
Byun Woo Seok will take on the role of the top star Ryu Sun-jae, who is at the peak of his fame in Korea. Sun-jae becomes weary of his life in the entertainment industry, but at the age of nineteen, a female lead named Im Sol appears in front of him to save him.
Kim Hye Yoon will portray Sol, an ardent fan of Sun-jae. Sol accidentally hears Sun-jae’s song on the radio and finds great comfort in it, becoming a devoted fan. Tragically, she goes back to the past to save Sun-jae, who has left the world.
The script will be written by Lee Si Eun, known for ‘True Beauty’ (2020) and ‘Top Star Yoo Baek’ (2018), and Kim Tae Yeop will direct the drama.
‘Fly High, Stay Low’ is scheduled to air as a Monday-Tuesday drama, but the specific broadcast dates have not been decided yet.
