The script reading session for “Sparkling Watermelon” has been revealed.
On the 18th, tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Sparkling Watermelon” released still cuts of the script reading scene where the actors’ acting chemistry, including Ryeo Un, Choi Hyun Wook, Seol In A and Shin Eun Soo.
“Sparkling Watermelon” is a fantasy youth drama about a deaf boy named Eun-Gyeol who is born to deaf parents and has a natural talent for music. He accidentally ends up in a mysterious space through a strange music store and forms a band called “Watermelon Sugar” with the mysterious youth he meets there.
At the recent script reading scene, writer Jin Soo-wan, director Son Jung-hyun, and director Yoo Bum-sang, along with the actors who will work together to create the drama, gathered together for the 1st script reading.
Ryeo Un plays the role of Eun-Gyeol, a boy with musical talent. Choi Hyun Wook plays the cheerful and passionate man Yi-Chan. Seol In A, who plays the beloved muse Se-Kyung. Shin Eun Soo plays the cold and arrogant ice princess and congenitally deaf Cheong-ah.
Meanwhile, “Sparkling Watermelon” will premiere on October 2nd at 8:50 PM.
