The entire Kpop community is in deep shock following news of Sulli’s sudden tragic passing.

UPDATED OCTOBER 16:

On October 16, it was reported that actress Song Hye Kyo has cancelled her appearance at a jewelry brand photo call event on October 17 due to recent events.

JYJ Kim Jaejoong was scheduled to hold a CouchTalk via ‘V Live’ this October 16, however, a notice was posted announcing that it will be postponed due to the tragic news of Sulli’s passing. The agency also sent their condolences to the bereaved family and friends.





f(x) Victoria has halted all of her activities in China, she halted filming for her drama in Shanghai and headed to Beijing to apply for a visa to enter Korea. She flew to Korea yesterday on October 15.

The news was revealed through a flight attendant on the same plane as her who posted about it on social media.

The list of Kpop groups, actors and productions cancelling or re-scheduling content release has grown even more as the entire community mourns the loss of Sulli following her tragic sudden passing.





f(x) Amber who was originally supposed to arrive today in South Korea will arrive on October 16 to pay her respect to Sulli, this happened because of few issues that had to be sorted out first.

f(x) Luna has cancelled her schedules for her appearances in her musical ‘Mamma Mia’ due to recent events.

Brown Eyed Girls also delayed the release of content related to their comeback album out of respect to Sulli.

SBS MTV’s “The Show” has also cancelled its usual live broadcast of artists leaving the station following the conclusion of October 15 filming.

IU has delayed the release of content from her upcoming album “Love Poem” as well in light of recent news.

A lot has transpired since then, and as a result of the unfortunate news, many idols and actors cancelled event appearances, broadcasts, content release and more out of respect for Sulli.





Taeyeon has announced that the content release for her upcoming solo album “PURPOSE” has been delayed due to the recent event.

MONSTA X comeback photo teasers release has been delayed as well.

NU’EST’s Aron and Baekho also released a statement announcing their Jam Live appearance was to be rescheduled to Friday due to the passing of Sulli.




1theK released a statement that Cosmic Girl‘s release of “All Rounder Idol” would also be postponed. They will update with another announcement later on.

N.Flying showcase for their 6th mini album “YAHO” which was set to be held on October 15 has also been canceled.

Actress Kim Yoo Jung‘sappearance at a beauty event with Laneige was also cancelled.

Red Velvet’s Seulgi announced that she would not be attending a brand event that was scheduled for October 15. It was followed by a statement from the brand itself confirming the news.

NCT Dream announced that their upcoming concert “The Dream Show” has been put on hold until further notice.





Super Junior Live broadcast in celebration of their first comeback after all the members were discharged from the military has also been canceled.

SuperM scheduled recording for their SBS special show has been canceled as well.

Videos, blog episodes and many other activities that were scheduled to be released today by many artists such as Kang Daniel, IZ*ONE, WJSN, AB6IX have also been canceled.

  1. Sulli will never be forgotten. I hope some celebs can take a step back and reflect on themselves. Take a breather and remember that they are loved and perhaps even bring more awareness in Korea. To all the people close with Sulli, I hope they know that they can mourn all they want. Sulli will be missed. I still can’t believe this is true. The Korean entertainment industry/community really needs a change. Let’s stop stressing hate or fan wars and let’s this world be a happy place. Thank you for everything Sulli.
