IU’s highly anticipated comeback schedule has been halted!
Its been revealed that the release of IU’s upcoming album “Love Poem” will be delayed due to recent events.
IU and Sulli are both known for being good friends; IU had previously revealed that she wrote her 2012 track “Peach” with Sulli in mind. Sulli has also made a short cameo appearance in IU’s hit drama “Hotel Del Luna” a couple of months ago.
On October 15, Kakao M announced through IU’s official account that the release of the material for IU’s comeback as well as the comeback date itself has been pushed back,
“The pre-release content for IU’s 5th mini album “Love Poem” has been discontinued.
We plan on revealing her schedule in another notice later, we ask of your understanding.
We offer our deepest condolences in regards to the sad news, and we wish for the deceased to rest in peace.”

“Love Poem” was originally supposed to be released on November 1st. Fans are extremely worried about IU’s well-being because she has lost two close friends in the span of less than two years, she also used to be close to SHINee’s Jonghyun.
Fans left many comments letting the agency know that they don’t want the album release to be rushed and would love for the agency to focus on IU’s health instead.
