Some fans have demanded Stray Kids’ Hyunjin leave the group and sent protest trucks to demonstrate that!

On March 14, various posts on social media popped up showing protest trucks in front of the JYP building. This time, the protest trucks were deployed to demand the removal of Stray Kids’ Hyunjin from the group. The messages read, “Hwang Hyunjin, get out,” and other messages ask why Stray Kids were given the image of bullies because of Hyunjin. Other messages refer to a ‘3rd controversy’ involving the idol too.

But why would fans send protest trucks demanding Hyunjin to leave Stray Kids?

Hyunjin has been the center of some controversies across the years, this started with his bullying controversy in 2021 when Hyunjin was accused of bullying, JYP initially stated they would be looking into it, but have since come out with a statement to clarify the facts, Hyunjin has also issued an apology letter. He ended up halting activities for some time to reflect and rejoined the group a while after.

The 2nd controversy refers to fans spotting Karina as his phone wallpaper, he ended up denying they were dating and shared the lock screen that caused the debate. He said, ‘my phone background… [followed by the picture]… my heart fluttered watching a drama so here is a croquis.’

The 3rd controversy is a new one, unverified. He’s been linked to the controversial kpop trainee Han Seo Hee, and some absurd rumors claim he’s had a one-night stand with her. Some chat logs were leaked online but Han Seo Hee has since come out to deny it and clarify the chat logs are not real.

JYP has yet to address the 3rd controversy.

Fans are split on this matter but many were surprised to see protest trucks in relation to Hyunjin near the JYP building.
