Chuu, a former member of LOONA, has won in the appellate court against her former agency.
The Seoul High Court Civil Division ruled in favor of Chuu on the 8th of March, stating that “the exclusive contract is not valid” in the lawsuit she filed against her former agency, Blockberry Creative.
Following the decision in the first trial, the second trial also ruled in favor of Chuu.
Chuu filed a lawsuit against Blockberry Creative in December 2021 after conflicts with the agency. The court attempted to mediate the case, but it was ultimately unresolved in March last year.
Blockberry Creative claimed that Chuu had verbally abused staff and engaged in bullying behavior, stating that they would expel her. However, Chuu countered, saying, “I have never done anything to be ashamed of in front of my fans.”

Chuu is currently active as a solo singer.
