LOONA’s Vivi and Hyunjin have also filed a lawsuit against Blockberry.

JTBC Enternews reported on January 3rd, LOONA Vivi and Hyunjin have filed applications for an injunction to terminate their contract with Blockberry Creative.

Vivi and Hyunjin are confirmed to have the same contract terms as Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and Choerry, who previously won a preliminary injunction lawsuit for contract termination, so its being speculated that they are highly likely to win. The outcome of the injunction lawsuit between the two will be released soon.

If Vivi and Hyunjin are judged in favor, Haseul, Yeojin, Yves, Gowon, and Olivia Hye, who agreed to the annexed agreement presented to the members by Blockberry Creative at the end of 2021, will be tied to their agencies.

However, as Blockberry Creative recently submitted a petition to the Korea Entertainment Management Association and the Korea Entertainment Producers Association requesting that Chuu, who was permanently expelled from LOONA, to be banned from performing in the entertainment industry, Heejin ·Kim Lip, Jinsoul, Choerry, Vivi, and Hyunjin are also expected to continue their long fight even if they freely proceed with their individual schedules without agency restrictions.

Blockberry Creative’s internal management conflict was revealed in 2021, and controversy arose. During this process, Chuu, who had the most active solo activities among LOONA members, filed an application for a provisional injunction to suspend her exclusive contract, dissatisfied with her agency’s settlement issue. Since then, Chuu, who received a partial victory, freely proceeded with her personal schedule without the restrictions of her agency.

Chuu also worked as a team, but the conflict with the agency intensified and she was eventually kicked out of LOONA. In this situation, nine members of LOONA (Heejin, Haseul, Yeojin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, Choerry, Yves, Gowon, and Olivia Hye), excluding Vivi and Hyunjin, also filed an application for an injunction to suspend the validity of the contract. The court ruled in favor of Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and Choerry, but Haseul, Yeojin, Yves, Gowon, and Olivia Hye, who had partially changed the terms of the contract, lost the case.
