Former Apink Member Hong Yu Kyung is getting married!
On the 12th of October, the former Idol took to her Instagram to share a handwritten letter with fans announcing the happy news. Hong Yu Kyung is getting married to a non-celebrity on the 14th of this month.

Hello, this is Hong Yu Kyung. I hope everyone is doing well. Around this time last year, we had promised to meet again this year, but it quietly passed by, and I feel sorry about that.
I wanted to share some news with those who always support me, so I am writing this message. Although it was a short time, I met someone who always gave me confidence and whom I want to spend my life with, and we will be getting married this Saturday.
I feel cautious and nervous about sharing this sudden news, and I think it might surprise many of you. I wanted to share this good news with those who have watched over and cherished me until now. I am grateful and I wanted to ask for your blessings for my new beginning.
I will continue to live a beautiful life with consideration. Thank you.
Hong Yu Kyung has since shared photos of her wedding photo shoot to her Instagram too.
Hong Yu Kyung debuted with Apink in April 2011 with other members. However, she left the group in April 2013. In 2019, she enrolled in a Fashion School and has been active as a designer since 2021.
