Rising actress Go Yoon Jung has replaced Han So Hee as the model for Nonghyup Bank!
According to the financial industry on the 7th of April, Go Yoon Jung has been selected as the new model for Nonghyup Bank, following in the footsteps of Han So Hee.
Nonghyup Bank explained the reason for selecting Go Yoon Jung as the new model, stating that she is suitable to add trendiness to the bank’s friendly brand image.
Nonghyup Bank had previously used Han So Hee as model from March 2021 for about three years. The YouTube videos featuring them garnered a lot of attention, with views ranging from 10 to 20 million.
However, coincidentally, just as Han So Hee was finishing her three-year partnership with Nonghyup Bank, she was caught up in a dating scandal with Ryu Jun Yeol lasting for two weeks. Despite her strong denials and explanations, her image took a hit.
Afterwards, Han So Hee’s contract as the model for a soju brand also expired, leading her to pass the baton to other actors.
However, her agency maintains that Han So Hee’s failure to renew the contracts does not mean she was unsuccessful in renegotiating.
Her agency stated, “The decision not to renew the Nonghyup Bank advertisement contract was made by mutual agreement at the end of last year. The decision not to renew the main advertisement contract was also made early this year after mutual discussions, unrelated to the dating scandal.”
