DAY6’s Dowoon has wrapped up his military service.
On the 16th of July, Dowoon returned to his fans after fulfilling his mandatory military duty. The idol had previously enlisted on January 17 of 2022. He was assigned to the military band.
With this, Dowoon is the 3rd member of his group to wrap up his military service following Sungjin and Young K. Wonpil is the only remaining DAY6 who is yet to finish his service, he’ll be done with it in November of this year.

To celebrate his discharge, Dowoon posted a collage of photos of him celebrating various occasions in his uniform to Instagram, he captioned with a sweet message,
Loyalty! I have received the order for discharge, haha. Thank you so much to everyone who congratulated me on my discharge today. I’m sorry I couldn’t meet all of you in person, it’s a bit regrettable.ㅜㅜ
Thank you so much for waiting for My Day, and I’m really grateful. I hope to see you more often in the future than now. I always feel grateful for your love, and I’ll share my improved mental health with you. Let’s all be happy together
I would also like to express my deep gratitude to the officers who helped me during my military service and the senior and junior soldiers I relied on a lot. I hope you all have a healthy and successful completion of your military service. To all the soldiers in the Republic of Korea, thank you so much for your hard work! I will always live with gratitude.
