Sungjin [discharged]

Even though Sungjin isn’t the oldest member in his group, but he surprised fans by becoming the first to enlist in the military.

Young K [serving]

Young K has recently announced his military enlistment plans via a V Live broadcast. On October 12, Young K enlisted in the military.

Dowoon [serving]

Dowoon is the youngest member of his group, he was born in 1995. Recently, Dowoon revealed he’ll enlist in the military band in January. He’s enlisting so soon to minimize DAY6’s hiatus period due to enlistment, he’s the 3rd member of his group to do so.

Wonpil [serving]
In early 2022, Wonpil held a V Live broadcast and announced the news of his enlistment directly to fans.

Jae [not enlisting]
Jae is the oldest member of his group, born in 1992, however, he won’t enlist in the military. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and is Korean-American. Jae is not a South Korean citizen, thus, he’s not serving in the military
