“Hangout with Yoo” replay service featuring BIGBANG‘s Daesung has been discontinued.
MBC TV variety show “Hangout with Yoo” has discontinued the replay service for episode 204, which was available on the official website on the 26th of October. Daesung appeared on this episode, which was broadcasted on the 21st. However, the broadcast clip video and the teaser video for Daesung’s upcoming appearance on the show are still available. The broadcast cannot be viewed on the official website or online streaming platforms. Some speculate that this decision was influenced by the ongoing police investigation of BIGBANG member G-Dragon for alleged drug use.
G-Dragon was booked without detention on the previous day for suspicion of violating drug control laws. It was revealed that the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency had obtained a statement regarding G-Dragon’s drug-related activities from A (29), the female manager of an entertainment establishment in Gangnam who was previously arrested for drug-related charges.
In addition to the controversy surrounding Daesung’s building, the production team is suspected to have discontinued the replay service due to the burden caused by G-Dragon’s alleged drug use.
The “Hangout with Yoo” program has not yet released an official statement regarding the discontinuation of the replay service.
