ASTRO’s Moonbin has been found dead in his home.
According to the Seoul Gangnam Police Station, Moonbin was found dead in his home in Gangnam-gu, Seoul by his manager, who reported it to the police at around 8:10 pm today.
A police official stated its presumed he made an extreme decision, “It is presumed that Moonbin took his own life,” and said, “We are considering an autopsy and other investigations to determine the exact cause of death.” Please note that the exact cause of death has not been confirmed yet and the report has since removed the mention of the extreme choice.
Moonbin, who was also active as a unit with ASTRO member Sanha as “Moonbin & Sanha,” was scheduled to appear in events such as Dream Concert very soon. Moonbin was only 25 years old.
The funeral hall is set up at Seoul Asan Hospital. His agency has also told news outlets they’re currently looking into the situation and will release a statement very soon.
