“Taxi Driver” Confirmed To Return With 3rd Season

On the 16th, an official from ‘Taxi Driver 2’ told news outlets, “It has been confirmed that we will be pursuing season 3. We plan to start discussions with actors, writers, and other related parties.”

‘Taxi Driver 2’ is a revenge drama where Rainbow Transport, a taxi company hidden behind a veil, and taxi driver Kim Do-ki complete revenge on behalf of unjust victims.

According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode broadcast on the 15th recorded a viewer rating of 21.0% (based on national households). It not only set its own highest viewer rating throughout the season but also recorded the highest viewer rating among mini-series aired in 2023.

As ‘Taxi Driver’ season 1 and season 2 were loved by many, it seems that they will actively move forward with the production of season 3. Anticipation is building on whether Lee Je Hoon, Pyo Ye Jin, Jang Hyuk Jin, and Bae Yoo Ram will be able to meet in one place.
