Following Netflix’s “Sweet Home” and “Squid Game,” another Korean drama, “Moving,” on Disney Plus is sweeping the world.

On the 5th, mobile application analysis service “Mobile Index” announced that the number of daily active users (DAU) of Disney Plus in August was approximately 370,000. In July, it was only 250,000, showing a growth rate of 48% after the release of “Moving.”

Netflix ranked first with an average of 2.91 million users, followed by Tving with 1.26 million users, Wave with 1.11 million users, Coupang Play with 710,000 users, and Disney Plus. Although the ranking is relatively low, it should be noted that Disney Plus was the last among these five OTT services to be launched in Korea.

On the upcoming 13th of September, Disney+ will present the original drama “Han River Police,” starring Kwone Sang Woo and Sung Dong Il. On the 27th, they will also release the original drama “The Worst of evil,” starring Ji Chang Wook and Wi Ha Joon.

It is worth paying attention to whether Disney+ can achieve success with these two dramas following “Moving.”

Meanwhile, “Moving” is a superhero action series that depicts children hiding their superpowers and parents living with painful secrets from the past, facing a great danger that transcends time and generations.
