JTBC’s new Saturday and Sunday drama “King The Land”, tells the story of Gu Won (Lee Junho), a man who despises laughter, and Cheon Sa Rang (YoonA), a smiling queen who has to laugh, in the VVIP lounge “King The Land”, the dream of hoteliers.
At the script reading, director Lim Hyun Wook and writer Choi Rom, along with Lee Junho (Gu Won), YoonA (Cheon Sa Rang), Go Won Hee (Oh Pyeong Hwa), Kim Ga Run (Kang Da Eul), Ahn Se Ha (Noh Sang Sik), Kim Jae Won (Lee Roun), etc, came and worked together. During the script reading, the faces of the actors did not stop smiling and laughing.
First, Lee Junho conveyed his warm aspiration to ‘create a scene full of laughter,’ and brought out the character’s characteristics with a tough tone as Gu Won, a man who despises laughter. On the outside, he looks indifferent, but on the inside, he hides deep loneliness.

YoonA expressed her energetic determination, saying, “I will work hard so that this smile can continue until the end of the filming.” She then immersed herself in the role of Smile Queen Cheon Sa Rang, who has a lovely smile and bright energy, demonstrating the true value of a professional and kind employee at the King Hotel.
The strong synergy between Lee Junho and YoonA, who meet as partners in the drama, stood out. While laughing, the realization of feelings for each other caused excitement. The chemistry of the two actors who lit up the scene gave a foreboding of the birth of a lovely romantic comedy that would make viewers smile.
