The new SBS Friday-Saturday drama “The Devil” written by the master of genre dramas, Kim Eun Hee, is confirmed to premiere next month.

On the 19th of May, the production team of “The Devil” announced the news. “The Devil” is a Korean occult mystery drama that unravels the mysterious death of a woman possessed by an evil spirit and a man who can see the evil spirit.

Kim Eun Hee, known for her works such as “Sign,” “Ghost,” “Signal,” and the Netflix series “Kingdom,” which have proven both artistic quality and commercial success, is garnering attention as the master of genre dramas.

Kim Tae Ri plays the role of Goo San-young, who is possessed by the evil spirit, Oh Jung Se plays the role of Yeom Hae-sang, a folklore professor who can see the evil spirit, and Hong Kyung stars as Detective Lee Hong-sae, who investigates the mysterious deaths surrounding them, are another point of expectation for viewers. Director Lee Jung Rim, who showcased stylish directing in the mystery melodrama “VIP” is helming the drama.

The drama has unveiled a teaser poster with a mysterious and eerie atmosphere, hinting at the beginning of the story.
