The upcoming TV CHOSUN weekend mini-series “My Happy End” promises a different dimension of mystery and storytelling with its new official posters!
“My Happy End” is a human psychological thriller drama that follows a woman who, after experiencing betrayal from the people she trusted, confronts a shocking truth. Through a mystery thriller that begins with the misfortune of those sacrificed for someone else’s happiness, the drama raises the question of what true happiness is.
Directed by Jo Soo-won, known for unique mise-en-scène and sophisticated directing skills in dramas such as ‘I Hear Your Voice’, ‘Pinocchio’, ‘Thirty But Seventeen’, and ‘Doctor John’, “My Happy End” features a cast of trusted actors including Jang Na Ra, Son Ho Jun, So Yi Hyun, Lee Ki Take and more.
In relation to this, “My Happy End” has released its main posters that anticipates Jang Na Ra’s transformation. In the first poster, Jang Na Ra, who plays Seo Jae-won, the CEO of a home furniture brand ‘Drev’ that generates billions of won in sales and has one million followers as an influencer, is portrayed with a determined gaze and intense eyes, as if piercing through the front. The poster depicts the psychological transformation of Seo Jae-won, whose dark abyss of emotions is shaken by the betrayal, as she embarks on a challenging journey to uncover the shocking truth. The contrast between Seo Jae-won’s subtle emotions, which appear to be a faint smile, and the phrase “Watch out. I will make you feel this hell too” that reveals her desire for revenge adds to the eerie atmosphere and raises curiosity about the narrative that Seo Jae-won will lead.
The second poster portrays Seo Jae-won lying on a bed, gazing somewhere with sharp eyes, creating a contrasting feeling to the first poster. The black and white contrast between the pure white bedsheet and the all-black outfit, Seo Jae-won’s expression filled with confusion and anxiety, and the complex emotions reflected in her eyes arouse curiosity. In addition, the phrase “Now, no one can be trusted…” expressing frustration enhances the atmosphere of mystery and thriller.
