My personal thoughts- written by Jass K.

The weekend kdrama battle is on!

I have not seen “The Red Sleeve” yet but I’ve heard mostly good things about it, I might check it out a bit later.

In regards to “Now We Are Breaking Up,” I’ve seen and enjoyed the premiere but to my surprise, there actually seems to be mixed responses to it online, I didn’t expect there to be this many people to say this but I guess its because they had higher expectations?

I didn’t really have any expectations of the drama so I was actually having fun watching it, granted, I understand why people have such mixed opinions about it.

Many are saying it reminds them of WWW: Search and to a degree, I agree the premise and feel is a bit similar but it’s too early to tell. There seems to be a lot of discussion about how Song Hye Kyo lacks range and how stiff Ki Yong is here. I will discuss more of my thoughts on the drama in a review I am putting out later today.

“Happiness” is picking up, which I enjoy. Jo Woo-Jin is truly carrying this drama, Han Hyo Joo’s performance feels a bit stiff to me and I feel that Hyung Sik is not in his best element here, but I am glad he’s trying out new things.

November is filled with new releases and this is only the beginning of it.
