Jang Ki Yong has enlisted in the military!
The actor was previously confirmed to enlist in the military on August 23, the enlistment location and time have not been revealed due to the spread of COVID-19.
Ahead of his enlistment, Jang Ki Yong uploaded a photo of himself with short hair and penned a handwritten message to fans, he said,
“I was able to spend my 20s happily thanks to the people who loved and supported me until now. I sincerely thank you. I will return strong and healthy for an amazing 30s. Thank you everyone, and I love you.”
“Now, We Are Breaking Up” actress Choi Hee Seo uploaded a group photo of the cast and captioned, “Ki Yong, we love you!” The photo includes Song Hye Kyo, Kim Joo Heon, Park Hyo Joo, and Yoon Na Moo.
“My Roommate Is a Gumiho” co-star Kim Do Wan has also posted a goodbye to the actor sharing a selfie with him, he wrote, “Take good care of your health. I’ll miss you.”
Jang Ki Yong has one more drama project coming up in November. “Now, We Are Breaking Up” is slated to air in less than three months. The filming has wrapped up and the actor also pre-recorded the press conference for the drama.
