Disney+ has confirmed the release date of its highly anticipated new original series “Vigilante“!
On September 25, Disney+ delighted fans with this announcement, along with it, teaser posters and trailers hinting at the birth of a dark hero created by the world have also been revealed.
“Vigilante” is an action thriller in which Kim Ji-yong (played by Nam Joo Hyuk), a model police academy student who upholds the law during the day, lives as a vigilante who personally judges criminals who have escaped the justice system at night, and various individuals with different goals confront each other fiercely. With the confirmation of the November 8th release of “Vigilante,” teaser posters and trailers announcing the birth of a new dark hero have been unveiled.
First, the teaser poster features a visual where “Kim Ji-yong” (played by Nam Joo Hyuk), dressed in a police uniform, stands in the rain-filled street, and the reflection of “Vigilante” is seen in his shadow, captivating attention. “Kim Ji-yong” is a model police academy student during the day, but at night, he becomes “Vigilante” and personally judges criminals who have escaped the justice system. The “Kim Ji-yong” in the poster stares somewhere with a determined expression like a model police academy student, while the “Vigilante” shown in the shadow represents a completely different image from day to night, creating curiosity. The wanted posters of criminals scattered on the ground hint at the unwavering belief of “Vigilante,” who judges only criminals who have evaded the justice system. In particular, the background reminiscent of a dark alley and the flickering neon sign imply the inner turmoil of “Kim Ji-yong,” who is confused about what true justice is between being a model police academy student and “Vigilante,” and raises curiosity about what events will unfold for him.

Disney+’s original series “Vigilante” will be exclusively released on Disney+ on November 8th, with a total of 8 episodes, two episodes each week on Wednesdays.
