Group Alice’s Sohee (25) is leaving the entertainment industry as she prepares for marriage.
Alice’s agency, IOK, announced on the 26th of April to MK Sports, “Sohee’s exclusive contract will expire next week. Sohee will retire from the entertainment industry after getting married to her current boyfriend, whom she is dating.”
Regarding the future whereabouts of the other Alice members excluding Sohee, they explained, “They plan to continue their individual activities as they are now. For now, congratulations are a priority. We will slowly discuss future activities after the wedding congratulations.”
Sohee’s boyfriend is known to be a businessman who is 15 years older than her. They plan to register their marriage next month and hold a small wedding ceremony within the year.
Meanwhile, Sohee, who was the runner-up of SBS’ “K-Pop Star 6: The Last Chance” in 2017, debuted as a member of the group Elris in the same year. After moving to her current agency, IO K, in December 2021, the group changed their English name to Alice and released songs such as “My Universe,” “DANCE ON,” and “SHOW DOWN.” After the release of the song “SHOW DOWN” in April last year, they have not been actively promoting as a group.
