Daniel Henney’s wife is Japanese-American Ru Kumagai. Ru Kumagai has appeared in various U.S. TV shows and is active as a model and actress.
The two became close colleagues and developed into lovers. They held a quiet and solemn wedding in the United States, inviting family and close friends, and became a couple. Previously, they had been involved in dating rumors in 2018 but denied them and clarified they were only close friends.
