Rain and Kim Ha Neul will meet in “Scandal of Hwain Family”!
Disney+ announced on the 26th of May that Rain and Kim Ha Neul will appear in the new series “Scandal of Hwain Family.”
“Scandal of Hwain Family” tells the story of Wan-su, who dreamed of a perfect life in the upper class by marrying the successor of Whinega Group, but encounters the bodyguard Do-yoon, who always stays by her side, and uncovers the secrets of Whinega.
Kim Ha Neul will take on the role of Wan-su and lead the drama. Wan-su, who rose to the top as a professional golfer, becomes the director of the foundation and gains worldwide fame through charity work after marrying the successor of Whinega Group.
Rain will play the role of Do-yoon. With a background as a former police officer and exceptional martial arts skills, Do-yoon joins the security team of Whinega Group with his own agenda and becomes responsible for Wan-su’s protection. Do-yoon, who must protect Wan-su at all costs, and Wan-su, who looks at Do-yoon, meet and clash with individuals in Whinega Group with different desires. Set against the backdrop of the upper class of a large corporation, the drama is expected to create a fascinating narrative through the intriguing relationship between these two characters in different positions and circumstances.
The drama is directed by Park Hong Gyun, who is highly acclaimed for his directing in works such as “New Heart,” and “The Greatest Love.” The script is written by Choi Yoon Jeong, who has garnered attention for her captivating character development and fresh romances in dramas like “Only Love” and “Three Sisters,” further enhancing the completeness of the work.
“Scandal of Hwain Family” will be released on Disney+.
