The office action drama “Numbers: Watchers of the Building Forest” has unveiled script reading pictures.

MBC’s new drama “Numbers: Watchers of the Building Forest” (Screenwriter Jeong An, Oh Hye Seok/Director Kim Chil Bong) unveiled the pictures of the script reading on April 27th.

“Numbers” is an office action drama in which a high school graduate accountant Jang Ho Woo confronts the absurdity of a huge accounting firm and realizes justice in the most accountant-like but least accountant-like way. With the interesting subject matter of accountants and accounting firms, it raises expectations by predicting a drama that will provide a different level of tension and immersion.

At the script reading site, actors armed with solid acting skills, such as Kim Myungsoo, Choi Jin Hyuk, Choi Min Soo, Yeonwoo, Lee Seong Yeol, Kim Young Jae, Jung Hae Gyun, Do Yeon Jin, Kim Sun Bin, Seong Byung Sook, Choi Jeong Woo, Park Hwan Hee, Seo Eun Woo, and Jo Hee Bong, all mobilized to perform. Even though it was their first meeting, the actors instantly immersed themselves in their respective characters as soon as the script reading started, creating an atmosphere like a real filming site.

First, Kim Myungsoo, who plays the role of Jang Ho Woo, the first and only high school graduate accountant to join Taeil Accounting Firm, which is by far the best among the Big 4 accounting firms in Korea, showed a passionate performance that was completely immersed in the character. Jang Ho Woo, who has a sense of numbers and excellent improvisation skills, which are essential for accountants, is a person with a sense of justice so extraordinary that he once dreamed of becoming a police officer.

Kim Myungsoo showed his deep affection and passion for this work as it is his first drama comeback after his military discharge.

Choi Jin Hyuk, who returned to acting after a long time, showed off his presence with his unique charisma. He is the only son of Han Je Gyun (Choi Min Soo), vice president of Taeil Accounting Corporation. He exudes special bromance chemistry with Jang Ho Woo, making the exciting relationship and story of the two people drawn through the drama even more exciting.

Choi Min Soo overwhelms the atmosphere of the scene with just his presence. Han Je Gyun, played by Choi Min Soo, is the vice president of Taeil Accounting Firm, and Seung Jo’s father. He seems to have a great personality that emphasizes the ethics and social responsibility of an accountant, but in fact, he has a charm that he is not even interested in such things. Choi Min Soo added the charm of the character with skillful control of the pace, befitting a veteran actor or acting master.

Lastly, Yeonwoo, who chose MBC drama again after the drama “The Golden Spoon”, was also impressive. Yeonwoo plays the role of Jin Yeon Ah, a senior associate at Taeil Accounting Corporation and a friend of Jang Ho Woo. The cute and lovely Jin Yeon Ah, who knows that numbers are scary but doesn’t know how scary the world is, accidentally becomes Ho Woo’s teacher at the company, and she is going to present a fresh chemistry. Yeonwoo embodied her own Jin Yeon Ah through more mature character analysis and energized her acting.

In addition, all the actors who attended the script reading, including Lee Seong Yeol, Kim Young Jae, Jung Hae Kyun, Do Yeon Jin, Kim Sun Bin, Seong Byung Suk, Choi Jeong Woo, Park Hwan Hee, Seo Eun Woo, and Jo Hee Bong, fully immersed themselves in their roles, adding to the credibility of the drama. The passionate performances of the actors, who perfectly embodied the characters armed with their individuality and charm, added strength to the drama and infused powerful energy in the right place, doubling the fun.

The production team said, “We felt the energy and synergy of the actors who form a perfect ensemble in a story where the tension couldn’t be lowered even for a second. We will do our best so that this atmosphere full of enthusiasm can be melted into the drama as it is. Please look forward to and show interest until the first broadcast.”

“Numbers” will premiere in June.
