Ku Hye Sun has returned with a new statement that’s shocking everyone!
This time Ku Hye Sun has released an official statement through her legal counsel and not through social media, the official statement reveals more about their discussions of divorce, Ku Hye Sun also says her husband would intimately contact women when drunk.
First, they started off with an apology to the fans of Ku Hye Sun,
“First of all, we’d like to apologize to the fans who are supporters and to the fans who have been watching and supporting Ku Hye Sun during her entertainment career and her marriage.”
The legal counsel explains that Ku Hye Sun indeed had consultations with her husband on their potential divorce, but she has never agreed to one officially,
“She has currently no intention of following through with the divorce, and has no reason to be blamed for the breaking of their marriage.”
The legal counsel also explains the divorce agreement was drafted and even exchanged between both parties; however, there were never any official dates or signatures on it. Adding,
“Ku Hye Sun is under severe stress due to Ahn Jae Hyun’s feelings of boredom, damage of trust in him, his change of heart, and his frequent intimate calls with several other women when he gets drunk, were the reasons she wanted to get a divorce.”
The shocking statement sheds more light on what exactly contributed to the falling of their marriage, fans are shocked to learn that about Ahn Jae Hyun who had spoken greatly about his love and dedication for his wife throughout their three-year marriage.
The legal counsel goes on to explain that Ku Hye Sun has made it clear that she has no intention of agreeing on divorce out of obligation to protect her family and her mother who is “psychologically in shock and deteriorating in health.”
The legal counsel continues on to state,
“Therefore, the articles that that state that Ku Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun ‘agreed’ to a divorce are false and without basis.”
The legal counsel goes on to explain that she is no longer able to stay with HB Entertainment,
“They have broken her trust because they one-sidedly managed their artist’s private lives. She hopes for her exclusive contract to be terminated as soon as possible.
However, if HB Entertainment fails to cooperate, we will have no choice but to take legal action.”
The legal counsel closed their statement sharing their hopes that no speculative articles would be published about their divorce as it’s a personal matter that has become an issue of public debate, they also state Ku Hye Sun regrets causing public concern and that they’ll work to resolve this as soon as possible.

It is so sad that their marriage ended this way. It is good that she has stopped making statements on her own, her lawyers should do the talking and yes, she should have left that agency right away. I just can’t understand why would she not agree to a divorce with her husband when he behaves so badly? Let him go girl. Life is so good.
This is why many actors wait to get married. While you’re still pursuing careers, don’t get married. People are in selfish mode and really don’t have the mental time for someone else. I understand why Korean performers wait until their 30’s or 40’s to commit to a meaningful relationship.
