It’s been a little over a day since the divorce announcement that shook the internet.

Ku Hye Sun had previously personally revealed that her husband Ahn Jae Hyun wants a divorce; this was followed by messages exposing Ahn Jae Hyun nature as shared by Ku Hye Sun herself.

Later, the agency officially announced the couple would be getting a divorce,

“The two actors reached a point recently in which they felt that they could no longer maintain their marriage due to various issues.”

Before all of this went down, I had reported on an adorable incident with Ku Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun, the incident was taken from the preview of a popular variety show called “My Ugly Duckling,” and it was published to the blog a day before the news came out.

The incident was about how Ahn Jae Hyun almost ran away after their first kiss; you can read about it here.

“My Ugly Duckling” focuses on family, marriage, and living alone. Ku Hye Sun was set to appear as a guest MC on Last night Sunday episode and she inevitably shared stories about her husband and their marriage throughout the show.

When the show was contacted following the divorce announcement, they stated they were “baffled” and had no idea. The show usually films each episode weeks in advance and the news came out on the same day the episode was supposed to air.

As a result, the show edited out a good portion of Ku Hye Sun’s appearance, presumed to be the instances where she specifically talks about her husband, as a result, Ku Hye Sun’s appearance on the show was minimalized.

What do you think of the show’s decision to edit out?

Check out a clip of her appearance on the show:
