Could BLACKPINK’s Jennie be joining the Marvel universe? We finally know the answer!
On June 12, An official from Jennie’s agency, YG Entertainment, stated, “There have been no offers for Jennie to appear in Marvel productions.” The rumors that were circulating through foreign media outlets were dismissed.
Earlier, a foreign media outlet reported that Jennie was cast to join Marvel’s Asian superhero group, “Team Agents of Atlas.”
According to the report, Jennie was said to portray a character known as Seol-hee (Luna Snow), who first appeared in the 2020 video game “Marvel Super War” and was voiced by former f(x) member Luna.
Jennie made her Hollywood debut through the American HBO drama “The Idol,” which was released earlier this month. Her appearance in the series garnered attention and she walked the red carpet at the Cannes International Film Festival last month.
