The Sweet Reason Why BTS Jungkook Apologized To Fans After A Performance
BTS member Jungkook apologized to fans but many think he shouldn’t have had to!
On the 8th of November, Jungkook left a post on the fan platform Weverse Community, saying, “ARMY, I’m sorry… The live broadcast failed heh. There are no excuses. I’ll do better on the next live broadcast!”
Previously that day, Jungkook appeared on the US NBC morning show ‘Today Show’ as part of the ‘CitiConcert Series’. Jungkook performed solo outdoor performances at the TODAY Plaza, including the title track “Standing Next to You” from his solo album ‘Golden’ and solo singles “3D” and “Seven”.
Jungkook performed live to the band sound. Despite the early morning, there was a huge crowd gathered in New York, and the enthusiasm of the fans cheering for Jungkook was remarkable.
Jungkook started the performance with “3D” and made eye contact with the fans, communicating with them individually. He also handed the microphone to fans who were singing along, showing his surprise.
However, there were many variables due to the outdoor performance. The weather worsened, and the sound condition was not stable. Jungkook seemed to have a lot of regret about this and directly apologized to the fans, attracting attention.
Fans who saw this sent messages of support, saying, “I don’t know what he means by saying it failed”, “His live performance skill was highlighted instead”, “Jungkook seems to have high standards”, “It was good, what more could he want?”
Meanwhile, Jungkook’s solo album ‘Golden’ sold a total of 2,438,483 copies as of 12:00 AM on the 10th, topping the list of the highest first-week sales for a K-pop solo artist.
