The Melon Music Awards (MMA) 2023 is in full gear preparing for the ceremony!
Recently, the first round of voting for this year’s top 10 ended and the organizers have since announced the winners. After that, the voting for the Daesangs (Grand Prizes) and category awards officially began.
The 2023 Melon Music Awards winners criteria
This year’s criteria for the 2023 MMA is as follows: Only music released between November 4, 2022 and November 1, 2023 were eligible.
Melon has additionally opened voting for the other awards, most of which have this criteria for determining the winner: based 60% on Melon download and streaming counts, 20% on judges’ evaluations, and 20% on votes.
Aside from that, Record of the Year and Music Video of the Year, will be determined based entirely on judges’ evaluations, voting does not count.
