Super Junior Donghae, Eunhyuk And Kyuhyun Leave SM Entertainment
Super Junior, as a group, has renewed their contract with SM Entertainment with three members leaving the agency.
On the 14th, SM announced the news, stating that Super Junior, who debuted in 2005, has been actively promoting with SM’s systematic support and deep trust. As a group, they have now renewed their contract with SM, and under full support, they will embark on a new chapter as Super Junior.
In addition, Super Junior members will continue their individual activities in various fields alongside group promotions. Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Kyuhyun have already been pursuing separate activities outside of SM and have not renewed as individual artists.
SM stated, “While supporting Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Kyuhyun’s new challenges, Super Junior will continue their activities with SM. We will effectively balance group activities, units, and individual activities to create even greater synergy.”
Celebrating their 18th debut anniversary this year, Super Junior has received immense love from global fans with hit songs such as “Sorry Sorry,” “Mr. Simple,” and “Devil.” They have also made various groundbreaking achievements, including being the first Korean group to embark on a South American tour through their world tour concert brand, “Super Show,” and holding the first solo concert by an Asian artist in Saudi Arabia. They have established themselves as the kings of Hallyu.
Super Junior plans to meet global fans through new music, various performances, and fan meetings later this year.
