Super Junior members Donghae and Eunhyuk will lead OD Entertainment as co-CEOs.
OD Entertainment announced on September 1, “Donghae and Eunhyuk established OD Entertainment as co-CEOs after their contract with SM Entertainment expired.”
Donghae and Eunhyuk, who debuted as Super Junior members in 2005, ended their journey with SM Entertainment on August 31. They declared a new start as co-CEOs of their own agency on September 1. SM Entertainment manager Won Yong-sun, who recently appeared on the MBC variety show ‘Point of Omniscient Interference’ with them, also joined OD Entertainment to continue their close partnership with Donghae and Eunhyuk.
Although they have changed agencies, they plan to continue group activities steadily with Super Junior members who have renewed their contracts with SM Entertainment. Fans are also anticipating their future activities as the unit Super Junior-D&E, which started in 2011.
SM Entertainment stated, “Super Junior will continue to actively pursue individual activities in various fields, along with group activities. Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Kyuhyun will carry out separate activities apart from SM.” They further explained, “SM will support Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Kyuhyun’s new challenges while effectively coordinating various group activities, units, and individual activities to create even greater synergy.”
