Stray Kids’ Felix’s grandmother has passed away, thus, he’s taking time off.
On June 24, JYP posted a notice to fans to let them know that Felix would be sitting out Stray Kids’ video call event scheduled for June 25 following the passing of his grandmother.
The agency’s statement reads:
Hello, this is JYPE.
Stray Kids member Felix’s grandmother has passed away.
Consequently, Felix will not be attending the “StarRiver Video Call Event” that was scheduled for tomorrow (6/25).
We ask for the kind understanding of STAY [Stray Kids’ fans] who have been waiting, and please send Felix warm words of consolation.
Rest in peace.
Thank you.
During this difficult period, we extend our heartfelt sympathies to Felix and his family.
