The news that SHINee member Taemin will be leaving his agency SM Entertainment and transferring to Big Planet Made is drawing attention.

On the 5th of March, it was reported that Taemin, who has been with SM Entertainment for 16 years, will be ending his contract with the agency at the end of this month and transferring to Big Planet Made Entertainment.

Later, a representative from Big Planet Made Entertainment stated through OSEN, “We are currently confirming the situation regarding Taemin’s agency transfer.”

Additionally, SHINee member Onew is also rumored to be wrapping up his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment in the first half of this year. However, it was also reported that both of them will continue their group activities with SHINee through SM Entertainment even after their personal contracts expire.

Attempts to contact SM Entertainment regarding this matter have been met with no response.

Meanwhile, these two members debuted as part of the group SHINee in 2008 and have received much love for hit songs such as “Replay,” “View,” “Ring Ding Dong,” and “Sherlock.” SHINee is scheduled to continue their Asia tour following their performance in Singapore on the 2nd, with their next stop being at the AsiaWorld Arena in Hong Kong on the 16th.
